![]() My immediate though when seeing them was that the blob design is a representation of the player's character as there is no other characters with that design in the story. ![]() Still, in my opinion the avatar and the blob in the picture look too much alike for us to not draw a connection between the two. In this one, when I switch between boy and girl, it just looks to me like a girl without eyelashes and obvious breasts. I felt that my avatar looked like a boy in that game and the girl looked like a girl. I think the avatar in the Crush Crush game seemed much more neutral. It might be the pose (hand on hip), but I think the arched eyes also seem more feminine. I think the Marshmallow in this game seems a bit effeminate whether you choose the boy or girl. I doubt they're re-direct their course based on our preferences. I'd also like to see the little blue blob react more masculine or feminine dependent on your gender (by redrawing the scenes to be more gender specific) Though it would be a nice touch if they were straight guys turning gay for you and vice-versa depicted in the dialog. Originally posted by Wayne:Well when you consider that the character you play as is pretty much a girly (based on the reactions in scenes) blue blob as opposed to an avatar (an understandable design choice even though I'm not fond of it) and the dialog for most of the guys can lead one to believe they are hetero or homosexual (except the really gay guy whom irritates the heck outta me) it is best to just assume they are Bi-sexual. It promotes the idea that sexuality is a choice and that it is ok to manipulate people's sexuality.Īlso, don't anyone find it questionable that the protagonist exploits the guys’ bad situation to his/her advantage making them go out on date with her/him even though they go not seem that happy about it? Some of the guys seems to identify themselves as gay in the script, so it's offensive to show that girls should ignore what they are saying and still try and make them fall for her - even if it's just to succeed in a game. I'm all for a game about gay, bi and straight relationships, but not the promotion of the idea that it's okay to try and turn people into going against their sexuality. I like the overal design of the game it's just this one thing that irks me. My suggestion is that the gender choice either should matter to the dialog, so those that pick being a girl can romance straight guys or gay girls, OR that the player don't get to pick a the girl gender and it's just a game about a gay gay romanzing gay guys and the design options can instead be reworked to focus on designing a dream guy for the guys. It seems a bit offensive that the game promotes girls romancing gay guys in an effort to basically turn them straight so they can be human again. The SFW version appears in the original slot whether Moist and Uncensored mode is turned on or off. What's the point of getting to pick your gender under "stats" if the characters in the game are gay guys none the less?
